About Us
how it all started
SLC Services & Maintenance was established in 2020 and is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, working across the South Cotswolds and surrounding areas. It was founded by Sam Coates and supported by his team, including Craig Williams, the business has grown steadily through hard work and consistently delivering high quality work across a wide range of projects.
We started SLC with a passion for transforming outdoor spaces and taking on practical, hands-on work where no two projects are the same. Over time, we have expanded to offer a full range of services including patios, fencing, landscaping, driveways, groundworks, site clearance and general building work for domestic, commercial and agricultural clients.
Our focus is on delivering reliable, well-organised projects with a high standard of finish, while making the process as straightforward as possible for our customers. By offering a wide range of services and the right equipment, we are able to complete projects efficiently from start to finish.

Sam - founder, owner & project manager
Sam founded SLC Services & Maintenance and manages projects from start to finish. With over 10 years of experience, he has a strong passion for the work and takes pride in delivering high quality results across a wide range of projects.
He enjoys working outdoors and the variety that each job brings, with no two projects ever the same. Sam is hands-on in all aspects of the business, from planning and organising work to problem solving on site and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard.
craig - right-hand man, landscaping specialist & expert bricklayer
Craig is a key member of the team with over 16 years of experience in brickwork and landscaping. As a skilled bricklayer by trade, he specialises in patios, paving and outdoor construction, playing a major role in delivering high quality finishes across projects.
Working closely alongside Sam, Craig brings experience, attention to detail and strong practical knowledge to every job, helping ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
